Job summary

University of California San Diego is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator for the Division of Extended Studies. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality public education programs, serving as the primary liaison among planning committees, instructors, staff, and community partners.

You will recruit instructors, solicit proposals, and schedule courses across in-person, hybrid, and Zoom formats. The role emphasizes catalog accuracy, term setup, and collaboration with marketing for catalog

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, coordinating and administering new programs in continuing education.
• Bachelor's degree in related area required or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service experience in a university setting.
• Ability to work in a team and participate in group discussions regarding goals and procedures.
• Experience using Word and Excel to organize program materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of course development from proposals to instructor recruitment.
• Build balanced schedules across in-person, hybrid, and Zoom formats.
• Manage term setup in the online portal and catalog production timelines.
• Maintain accurate course descriptions, scheduling, and catalog content.
