Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a mid to senior-level corporate associate in San Francisco, CA to work with public companies on reporting, compliance, corporate governance, and capital markets. The role sits within a dynamic securities practice focusing on life sciences, technology, and digital assets.

The candidate will conduct thorough legal research, draft memos and contracts, manage complex transactions, and build strong client relationships while collaborating across the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public company and capital markets.
• Experience with public companies' periodic reporting.
• Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Experience with Nasdaq and NYSE listing and governance requirements.
• Experience with issuers, underwriters, and financial intermediaries.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions.
• Draft legal documents, including memos and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals on transaction strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities, including client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
