Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid to senior-level corporate associate to join its capital markets group in Washington, DC. The role focuses on representing public companies in reporting, compliance, and governance, while engaging in capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will support a dynamic securities practice serving life sciences, technology, and digital assets, and work with colleagues to develop strategy and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public company and capital markets.
• Experience with public company reporting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Experience with Nasdaq and NYSE listing and governance requirements.
• Experience with issuers, underwriters, and financial intermediaries.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred.
• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions.
• Draft legal documents, including memos and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop transaction strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities, including client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to firm programs and community involvement.
