Job summary

Ensemble is seeking an Eligibility Services Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at Mercy - St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH. The role ensures accurate benefits analysis, guidance for staff, and adherence to policies and government programs.

You will oversee staff performance, coach and develop team members, and collaborate with Case Management and Patient Access to optimize revenue cycle processes. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum years and type of experience: 2 years' experience interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors staff account level work outcomes to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitors workflow and action planning for successful KPI measures.
• Functions as subject matter expert for department policies & procedures and government benefit programs.
• Assists Manager or Director with staff time & attendance compliance.
• Develops relationships with county/state/federal Medicaid caseworkers and partners.
• Works with Revenue Cycle departments, including Case Management, Patient Access, Financial Counseling.

• This position pays between $54,700.00- $68,375.00 based on experience
• This position is located On-Site at Mercy - St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH.

Supervises the day to day task functionality of the Eligibility Services department. Maintains thorough working knowledge of department policies and procedures to act as subject matter expert for business process questions. Maintains thorough working knowledge of relevant federal, state and county benefit program requirements and shares with staff as appropriate. Monitors individual and team productivity and work quality levels to identify coaching or counseling opportunities. Acts as floater to erase deficiencies when work volume spikes or staffing gaps are present.
