Job summary

Ensemble, a leading healthcare revenue cycle provider, seeks an Eligibility Services supervisor for the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. This on-site role supervises daily tasks and ensures department policies and procedures are followed to support hospital finances.

You will coach staff, monitor productivity, and collaborate with Medicaid caseworkers and related departments. On-site with opportunities for growth; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitors staff account level work outcomes to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitors workflow and action planning for KPI measures; serves as SME for department policies and procedures.
• Assists Manager with staff time & attendance compliance.
• Develops & maintains proactive working relationship with county/state/federal Medicaid caseworkers.
• Works with Case Management, Patient Access, Financial Counseling and Physician office staff.
• Ability to travel when needed.

This position pays between $52,100.00 - $65,125.00 based on experience

This will be an on-site position at Carilion - Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

Supervises the day to day task functionality of the Eligibility Services department. Maintains thorough working knowledge of department policies and procedures to act as subject matter expert for business process questions. Maintains thorough working knowledge of relevant federal, state and county benefit program requirements and shares with staff as appropriate. Monitors individual and team productivity and work quality levels to identify coaching or counseling opportunities. Acts as floater to erase deficiencies when work volume spikes or staffing gaps are present.
