Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting is seeking an Emergency Management Public Assistance Specialist at junior to senior levels. This temporary, full-time role supports disaster recovery across the United States, with travel up to 100% and on-site work in various locations.

You will provide technical assistance, review project worksheets for FEMA eligibility, and ensure compliance and timely delivery. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of FEMA categories A, B, and E are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-7+ years of FEMA public assistance and grant experience across Junior to Senior levels.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FEMA categories A, B and E.
• Experience with grants portals and MS Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to clients through the disaster recovery process.
• Review project worksheets and documentation for eligibility and cost reasonableness.
• Ensure timely, compliant delivery of all assigned tasks and maintain grant records.
