• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary reviews of public assistance cases to determine compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and program guidelines.
• Evaluate case information and data to decide whether referrals are needed or cases should be closed.
• Research, collect, verify, and organize documentation to support investigations and decisions.
• Develop and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets to track investigations, case status, findings, and outcomes.
• Utilize agency databases and case management tools to review, document, and manage case activity.
• Analyze investigative findings and prepare narrative reports summarizing research, evidence, and recommendations.
• Interpret policies, procedures, and program standards to ensure consistent case evaluations.
• Identify trends and discrepancies through data analysis and research.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly while maintaining confidentiality.
