Fayette Chamber of Commerce (GA) is hiring a Part-Time Public Art Program Coordinator to support the City’s public art initiatives through the Recreation and Special Events Department.

The role serves as the staff liaison to the Public Art Committee, coordinates meetings, agendas, budgets, and communications with artists, vendors, and community partners, and helps expand educational programs and public outreach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in arts administration, recreation, public administration, or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in program coordination, public art, recreation programming, or related areas preferred.
• Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the city’s public art program within the Recreation and Special Events Department.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Public Art Committee and manage meetings, agendas, and records.
• Develop annual work plans, project schedules, and program goals.
• Track budgets, expenditures, grants, and funding sources.
• Coordinate with departments on installations, permits, procurement, and risk management.
• Prepare reports and committee materials; support outreach and education programs.
• Coordinate artist communications, installations, events, and public art projects.
