Job summary

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Part-Time Youth Council and Youth Activities Program Coordinator to manage and support youth civic engagement programs through the City Manager's Office. Responsibilities include coordinating the Youth Activities Committee and providing leadership for the Youth Council comprising high school students.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, experience in youth programming, and the ability to work collaboratively with committee members and community partners.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in youth programming or community outreach.
• Experience working with youth or student groups strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with both adult committee members and high school participants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the City’s Youth Activities Committee and Youth Council programs.
• Prepare materials and track participation for committees and councils.
• Supervise youth participants and ensure safety during events and travel.
