Job summary

The Arts & Science Council (ASC) seeks a Program Specialist, Public Art to provide administrative support and manage resources for the Public Art Program. You will be the primary contact for internal and external constituents, coordinating meetings, documents, and payments, and assisting with communications to the Public Art Commission.

Reporting to the Vice President, Public Art, you will help in project management, engage with artists and communities, and support PAC operations and governance.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in visual arts related fields, arts administration, or executive assistance.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in visual arts/arts administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate public art project meetings, artist selection panels, and community engagement activities.
• Support contract lifecycle for public art projects, including preparation, review, routing, execution, amendments, and payments.
• Maintain financial records, track budgets, invoices, contracts, and provide regular budget status reports.
• Analyze program impact through reports and data storytelling.
• Collaborate across internal departments to advance organizational goals.
