Job summary

Scottsdale Arts in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking part-time Art Ambassadors for the Canal Convergence event. You will engage visitors, discuss artworks, assist with crowd flow, and provide directions during evening and weekend shifts.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and may be pursuing or possess a degree in education, museum education, music, theatre, or art. 6 months+ public-facing experience and strong communication are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends; part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the public at the temporary event related to the exhibition.
• Direct traffic flow at the event site.
• Communicate with staff, the public, and protection services about artwork status.
• Maintain safety of exhibition and event spaces.
• Participate in setup and teardown duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
