Job summary

The Goodwin Hotel in Hartford, CT seeks a Houseperson to support daily housekeeping operations. You will cleanse public areas and the lobby, assist with event space setups, and help maintain staff spaces to high standards.

Ideal candidates have housekeeping or hospitality experience, are on their feet for long periods, and can work evenings and weekends. You will contribute to guest satisfaction through courteous, efficient service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to remain on their feet for extended periods.
• Previous housekeeping and hospitality experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.
• Bend, squat, kneel and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Evenings and weekends shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas, lobby and event spaces to hotel standards.
• Maintain employee spaces and assist in daily housekeeping tasks.
• Deliver supplies to Housekeeping and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Assist with linen handling and laundry-related duties.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed and report issues.
