Job summary

Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco is seeking a Houseperson to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of both front and back of house areas. You will work under the Housekeeping department, performing a variety of tasks with a focus on guest service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a houseperson or housekeeping role and is committed to excellence. This full-time role offers hourly pay of $30.75 plus comprehensive benefits and scheduled holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1–2 years in a luxury hotel housekeeping role.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle guest information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and equipment.
• Clean and maintain public areas.
• Assist Room Attendants with stripping vacant rooms.
• Respond quickly to guest requests.
• Deliver linen and supplies.
• Shampoo hallways, rooms, and public areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Sweep and wash floors; move furniture.
• Work varying shifts including holidays and weekends.
