Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain pristine public spaces in a luxury hotel setting. You will clean lobbies, corridors, and meeting areas while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities include sustaining cleanliness standards, assisting with event setups, and collaborating with engineering and Housekeeping leadership. The role requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts in a high-end environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, engaging, and friendly service to guests and colleagues.
• Clean and maintain assigned public areas throughout the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, and meeting spaces.
• Empty garbage and recycling from public areas and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and guest-facing areas; dust and clean furniture and fixtures.
• Report maintenance deficiencies promptly to the appropriate department or Housekeeping leadership.
