Job summary

Brandt Holdings Company in Fargo, ND is seeking a Houseperson to support guest experience by cleaning corridors and public areas and assisting room attendants. You will follow brand standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the property.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and reliability in a fast-paced hotel environment. Benefits include PTO, health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers.
• Able to understand and speak some of the English language.
• Able to work in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash receptacles and remove all linens and note areas that need immediate cleaning.
• Clean all public areas in accordance with brand standards and management, including, but not limited to hallways, elevators, service areas, stairways, etc.
• Aid housekeepers and maintenance team as needed.
• Stock linen and supply closets to ensure par inventories.
• Complete deep cleaning or preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Clean other designated areas when assigned, including, but not limited to restrooms, public areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
• Ensure all hotel property is in working order. Report missing articles, damage, or mechanical problems to management or supervisor, as necessary.
• Turn in and log all guest property left in room or other public space.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed (for example flip mattresses, move furniture).
• Ensure all rooms/assigned tasked are completed with the allotted MPR’s.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
