Job summary

PENN Entertainment's Hollywood Casino York is seeking a housekeeping team member to uphold high cleanliness standards across guest areas and back-of-house spaces.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning fixtures, and assisting guests while following safety protocols. The role requires reading/writing skills and eligibility for the PA gaming license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Less than 6 months of prior work experience.
• Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
• Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Sweep and vacuum carpets and floors.
• Mop floors.
• Dust and polish fixtures, furniture and flooring.
• Clean windows and doors.
• Wash and wipe down stairwells, base boards, walls, waste cans and other items as assigned.
• Remove trash cans and debris.
• Prompt attention to cleaning up spills or accidents or debris.
• Conduct all guest and staff interactions in a pleasant and helpful manner with knowledge of our property and services.
• Maintain a clean working area at all times and ensure equipment and materials are not left unsafe or unsightly.
