Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Naples, FL is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain pristine public spaces and restrooms throughout the resort.

You will clean and dust surfaces, restock supplies, and respond to guest requests while working closely with the Housekeeping team to uphold our luxury standards and guest experiences.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Removes all trash from areas and submits maintenance issues to Engineering.
• Periodically checks lobby restrooms and employee locker rooms and restocks supplies.
• Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby and directs guests as needed.
• Follows Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.

About the role

The Public Area Attendant keeps public areas and restrooms clean, neat, and well supplied.

What you will do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Keeps all public areas including food and beverage outlets and banquet spaces neat, vacuumed, moped and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free. Removes all trash from areas. Submits all maintenance issues in public areas and back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and brings them to the attention of the Housekeeping management.
• Periodically checks lobby restrooms and employee locker rooms. Makes sure all surfaces are clean. Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap, hand towels and removes all trash from areas. Removes all trash from back of house offices. Vacuums carpets and dusts surfaces in offices
• Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby. Can answer guest questions and direct them to the areas they desire to be in.
• Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Guestroom Attendant and House Attendant.
• Assists Housekeeping management with weekly stock takes of guest supplies, cleaning supplies and chemicals needed for the cleaning of front and back of house areas.
