Job summary

Lozano Smith’s Walnut Creek office seeks an Attorney to join our Investigations and Title IX practice group, supporting public agencies across California. You will lead investigations, advise on protocols, and handle Title IX matters for schools and government entities while collaborating with our Labor and Employment and Student practice areas.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of Title IX, Title VII, and anti-discrimination laws in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clear, detailed, and legally sound investigative reports summarizing findings and evidence.
• Advise public agency administrators on investigation protocols and employee rights compliance.
• Assist on Title IX matters ensuring alignment with regulations for educational institutions.
