Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public agency litigation with municipal law, CEQA, construction defect, and related matters.
• Experience representing local government entities is required.
• Strong research, writing, advocacy, negotiation, and deadline-driven skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of public agency litigation matters including CEQA, municipal and civil cases.
• Represent public agencies, cities, counties, and districts in litigation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, motions, and pleadings.
