Job summary

USARCENT is seeking a Public Affairs Office web developer at Shaw AFB, SC to design, develop, and maintain public-facing and internal websites, and to ensure alignment with accessibility and security guidelines. In this full-time role, you will publish command news and content, support analytics, and coordinate with PAO staff, all within a military HQ environment.

Candidates should have government/public affairs experience, HTML/CSS/JS skills, and be prepared for DoD-style training and CAC

Qualifications

Experience in web development/content management for public affairs or government.
Proficiency with web development platforms/CMS and basic front-end tech.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and release procedures.
Ability to work under command-level review.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain CAC.
Must complete security trainings within the first 30 days and annually.
Must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain public-facing and internal websites and digital content platforms.
Coordinate with PAO staff to publish command news, media products, and internal information content.
Ensure web content complies with applicable public affairs, accessibility, and security guidelines.
Support digital analytics tracking and reporting on web/content engagement.
Troubleshoot and maintain web platform functionality and security.
