Job summary

USARCENT is seeking a web-focused Public Affairs role to design, develop, and maintain digital content for internal and external audiences. The position supports the PAO Directorate and contributes to command news publication and media products.

You will work with CMS platforms, ensure accessibility and security standards, and coordinate with PAO staff to deliver timely information. U.S. Citizenship and CAC eligibility are required, with training completed in the first 30 days.

Qualifications

Experience in web development/content management, preferably supporting a military, government, or public affairs organization.
Proficiency with common web platforms and front-end tech (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
Familiarity with web accessibility standards and public affairs procedures is a plus.
U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a CAC within two weeks after hire.
Must complete required security, information assurance training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain public-facing and internal websites and digital content platforms.
Coordinate with PAO staff to publish command news, media products, and internal info content.
Ensure web content complies with accessibility, security, and public affairs guidelines.
Support digital analytics tracking and reporting on web/content engagement.
Troubleshoot and maintain web platform functionality and security.
