Job summary

Accenture is seeking a role in Fort Myers to advance public service initiatives through proactive customer assistance, community engagement, and strategic communications. This onsite role collaborates with clients, builders, and government entities to improve utility services and public involvement.

You will help develop and promote customer service goals, represent the client before agencies and civic groups, and create materials across brochures, newsletters, and web content while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public administration, business, planning/community development, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in customer/public assistance work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, promote, and implement the client’s customer service goals and objectives.
• Provide proactive customer assistance and advocacy regarding utility billing issues.
• Serve as the spokesperson for the client on all issues with the media and various community groups.
• Actively participate in a community outreach program to promote the client’s goals and objectives with other governmental entities.
• Serve as a resource for builders and developers regarding connections within our service areas.
• Represent the client before other governmental agencies, including city and county commission meetings.
• Produce and coordinate publications, brochures, newsletters, videos, web information, and other materials.
• Initiate new strategies to improve existing efforts and advise program and project managers to enhance community relations.
• Develop strategies and methods to enhance and encourage public involvement.
• Prepare and present written and verbal communications for various audiences.
• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
• With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.
