Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of relevant experience in an agency or in-house corporate communications or public affairs role.
• Deep understanding of the media landscape and how to strategically leverage digital, print, social, and broadcast channels.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills, with an ability to translate policy and corporate issues into compelling narratives.
• Proven track record of managing complex multistate campaigns, grassroots field operations, and cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• Highly organized and adaptable problem-solver with exceptional time management skills.
• Capable of independently managing multiple campaigns simultaneously while collaborating effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate and advocacy work as the strategic client lead for various corporations, coalitions, and causes.
• Lead internal client teams on multistate advocacy and reputation campaigns, managing grassroots field teams across various markets.
• Develop and execute hyperlocal communications plans – including content development and media strategies.
• Contribute to new business development, including drafting client proposals and pitch decks.
• Manage junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
