Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in public affairs or communications.
• Proven experience in writing and editing materials and working with the press.
• Strong understanding of AP Style.
• Ability to synthesize technical content for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Craft narratives by distilling complex policy information into messaging for diverse audiences.
• Draft press releases, talking points, media statements, op-eds and fact sheets.
• Manage grassroots field teams for coalition building and local earned media.
• Coordinate media outreach and cultivate relationships with reporters.
• Develop presentations and collateral materials, strategic plans and reports.
• Track campaign deliverables and serve as a project manager for key accounts.
• Act as liaison between PLUS Communications, clients, partners and vendors.
