Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public affairs or communications experience.
• Proven writing and editing experience with the press.
• Strong understanding of AP Style.
• Ability to synthesize complex policy content.
• Familiar with digital, print, social, and broadcast channels.

Responsibilities

• Craft narratives distilling complex policy and regulatory information into tangible messaging for audiences.
• Draft press releases, talking points, media statements, fact sheets and op-eds.
• Manage grassroots field teams for coalition building and earned media.
• Coordinate media outreach and cultivate reporter relationships.
• Develop presentations, collateral materials, strategic plans and reports.
• Track campaign deliverables and act as project manager for key accounts.
• Serve as liaison between internal team, client, agency partners and vendors.
