Job summary

STACK Infrastructure in Denver is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to serve as a public-facing representative across STACK's data-center portfolio, building relationships with community stakeholders and guiding engagement from kickoff to completion.

You will collaborate with Site Strategy, Development, Legal, Communications, and Public Affairs to shape plans, coordinate events, gather feedback, and translate complex project details into accessible materials for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public policy, political science, urban planning, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in community relations, public affairs, local government, or related fields.
• Interest or experience in data centers, infrastructure, or real estate development is preferred.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage skeptical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; distill complex information clearly.
• Sound judgment and situational awareness with escalation when needed.
• High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with local government processes is a plus.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint; prepare presentations and briefing materials.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for events and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage community engagement activities for assigned projects and markets, including open houses, town halls, and public meetings.
• Represent STACK to community members, civic groups, local officials, and other stakeholders.
• Build relationships with community stakeholders in coordination with Public Affairs and project teams.
• Develop market- and project-specific engagement plans with cross-functional teams.
• Research community concerns and inform engagement strategies and messaging.
• Gather and communicate stakeholder feedback to internal teams for follow-up.
• Prepare presentations, talking points, FAQs, briefing materials, and other public-facing content.
• Maintain records of stakeholder interactions and commitments for reporting.
