The City of Jurupa Valley is seeking an Administrative Intern to assist in the Economic Development Division and other city departments. This part-time, non-benefited internship offers hands-on training in public administration, research, and community outreach while supporting various city programs and projects.

You will assist with events, social media, data gathering, and report preparation, gaining exposure to city operations, budgeting, and public information workflows under supervision.

Competenze

• Knowledge of public administration concepts and research methods.
• Familiarity with statistical and survey techniques.
• Strong record-keeping, report writing, and communication skills.
• Spanish language ability is a plus for frontline work.

• Assist with Economic Development duties, coordinating events (Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings).
• Assist with business outreach and community engagement.
• Prepare social media posts and marketing materials.
• Conduct research and analyze administrative, fiscal, and operational data.
• Support in budget preparation, analysis, and recordkeeping.
