Job summary

Cara Irish Pubs in Minneapolis is seeking a friendly server to greet guests and support coworkers from entry to exit, delivering attentive service in a fast-paced pub setting.

You will upsell menu items, maintain spotless service stations, set tables, and help guests place orders on their phones. Reports to the manager on duty; must comply with alcohol service laws and uphold pub policies.

Qualifications

• Must have proper legal identification.
• Alcohol awareness certification required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to operate the POS system and assist guests with ordering.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and prepare the pub before opening.
• Meet and seat guests when the host is not on duty.
• Assist guests with menu selections and ordering.
• Serve and clear service items from the table.
• Close and clean the dining area and prepare for the next day.
• Maintain a clean dining area and adhere to all safety policies.
