Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) invites applications for the Federal Work Study - PTK Assistant at Harold Washington Campus. The role supports the PTK advisor, coordinates the induction ceremony and assists in planning chapter events, with strong communication and customer service expectations.

Hours are Monday and Wednesday, 12pm–4pm. Eligibility requires 16+, valid work permit, active CCC enrollment in at least 6 semester hours, pursuing an approved credential, minimum 2.0 GPA, and not

Qualifications

• Eligibility: 16+ years old, work permit, eligible to work in the United States.
• Active enrollment at City Colleges of Chicago.
• Enrolled in at least 6 semester hours (pre-credit or credit).
• Pursuing an approved credential, degree, or certificate.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA (waived for first semester new students).
• Not a current CCC employee (full-time or part-time).
• All positions are employment at-will.

Responsibilities

• Work with the PTK advisor to communicate with Mu Pi Chapter Members.
• Coordinate the induction ceremony.
• Support planning of chapter events.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and great customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
