Boston Medical Center seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician II for its Inpatient Pharmacy. The part-time role involves preparing and distributing medications, operating automated systems, maintaining inventory, and supporting quality assurance.

You will assist in staff training under supervision, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff. A registered MA Pharmacy Technician with national certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be registered with the MA Board of Pharmacy by hire date.
• National certification from PTCB or exCPT required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for use, including packaging, repacking, compounding, bar-coding, or other manipulation.
• Perform medication preparation following law, standards, and hospital policy; participate in double-check for all preparation.
• Assist with inventory control: receiving, stocking, and replenishment per policy.
