Overview

With the implementation of the new UBOS solution, the PTC is implementing the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) based on SAP S/4HANA.
The PTC is engaging a System Integrator (SI) to perform the implementation; however, the PTC has limited experience in the BRIM functionality and technical details.
This role will understand the PTC’s needs and work with the SI to implement a fully functional and reliable BRIM application as part of UBOS.
The position is responsible for the functional and business process portion of the BRIM implementation and its posting to SAP S/4HANA Finance module, validating all functional aspects of the integrations with BRIM for UBOS.
The role will conclude at the end of the UBOS implementation project.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand the PTC’s current Billing and Revenue structure and functionality.
• Study and understand the PTC’s desired Billing and Revenue functionality for UBOS.
• Coordinate changes and designs to the UBOS and the PTC’s other technologies to assure the PTC’s needs are met, following the standards and policies.
• Act as PTC’s BRIM subject‑matter expert, representing PTC in meetings and workshops and working with the UBOS SI team to ensure PTC’s needs are met.
• Raise concerns and possible issues to PTC leadership, with enough detail for decisions.
• Develop and maintain plans and other documentation using PTC established standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
• Follow tasks and other duties assigned by the PTC.
• Lead and participate in project team meetings and activities for Billing and Revenue work efforts related to enterprise systems.
• Review SI’s documentation on behalf of PTC and advise the PTC UBOS IT Program Manager on acceptance.
• Perform hands‑on testing as part of PTC’s acceptance of the SI’s solution, providing feedback to the UBOS IT Program Manager.
• Assist with conducting lessons‑learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.
• Follow tasks and other duties assigned by the UBOS IT Program Manager.

Desired Skillset

• More than 5 years of expertise in SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) implementations of various sizes.
• Implementation experience for a tolling back office or a large‑scale call‑center based back office is highly desired.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of business software including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, plus Microsoft Project.
• Additional beneficial skills:
  • ServiceNow Experience in PPM and ITSM modules.
  • Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP projects.
  • ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and utilize various software/technology tools to accomplish tasks.
• Provide daily and hourly direction and support to the IT UBOS Team as assigned.
• Work with the business departments’ staff to determine priorities and schedules.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience

• 5 years of SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) system functional support experience.
• 1 successful SAP BRIM implementation experience in an SAP S/4 HANA landscape.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

Engagement Requirements

Candidate shall be located within the Continental United States.
The engagement will be largely remote, but the candidate may be required to travel to the commission’s headquarters on an as‑needed basis for critical phases of the project such as requirements gathering, solution confirmation, system integration testing, UAT, go‑live, and hyper‑care.
No additional travel expense will be provided.
