Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• State PTA licensure or certification required and must be current and valid.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, report to supervising PT.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Provide patient and family instructions on exercises and safety at home.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
