Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy under a Physical Therapist's direction at our Harrison Township location in Ohio. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, document progress, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety.

Travel may be required as part of a team that delivers comprehensive care. The PTA role requires an Associate Degree with 0–1 years of experience and active licensure, with CPR

Qualifications

• Current state PTA licensure required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Associates degree required.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Observes patient responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observes and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
