Job summary

Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide PT services under the direction of a licensed PT. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment plans, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to guidelines.

You will supervise rehab technicians and participate in care conferences while maintaining professional conduct and ongoing development in a supportive facility environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Valid state Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for all assigned patients in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Actively integrate physical therapy services into facility and interdisciplinary treatment plans.
• Maintain awareness of patient progress and communicate with the supervising physical therapist.
