Job summary

People Well Staffing is recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Gilroy, CA SNF rehabilitation team. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans and help patients progress toward meaningful functional goals in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

This permanent, on-site role offers hourly compensation of $48–$55, with opportunities for professional growth and collaborative case reviews.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active CA PTA license in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait, balance, mobility, and functional training.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers within the established plan of care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care team.
