Job summary

Talent With Heart seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in delivering quality patient care. The PTA will implement treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist and document activities accurately, maintaining professionalism with patients and staff.

Applicants must have a CAPTE-accredited PTA/PT program credential, be licensed/certified in the state, CPR trained, and capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk most of shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards and Medicare regulations.
