Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. You will deliver skilled patient care under a licensed Physical Therapist and help maintain accurate documentation while collaborating with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for most of a shift.

Responsibilities

Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
