Qualifications
- Education: CAPTE-accredited PTA program completed.
- Licensure: current State PTA license and CPR certification.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand most of a shift.
- Strong teamwork, time management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
- Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
