Job summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Trilogy Health Services, under the direction of a Physical Therapist, provides therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment in Ohio at The Oaks at Bethesda, Zanesville. This role adheres to professional practices and ethical standards.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, instructing patients and families, and collaborating with the team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current PTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
