Job summary

Family Tree Rehabilitation, part of The Campus of Anna Maria, on a wooded campus in Ohio, is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy department. This family-owned and operated skilled nursing facility offers resident-centered rehabilitation in a warm, supportive environment.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides skilled treatments to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence for residents enrolled in therapy services.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility.
• Monitor and document resident progress and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Promote safety, dignity, and individualized resident care.
• Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
