River Bend Nursing and Rehab in Evansville, IN is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist with assessments and implement treatment plans under a Physical Therapist's direction.

The role focuses on improving mobility, balance, and independence, requires collaboration with the rehab team, and adherence to clinical standards. This is a full-time position with shift availability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Indiana.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA care within scope of practice and standards.
• Assist PT with resident evaluations as directed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with PT guidance.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and function.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to PT and care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services.
• Adhere to clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
