River Bend Nursing and Rehab in Evansville, IN is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents with mobility and functional goals. You will assist with assessments, implement treatment plans under a Physical Therapist's supervision, and help residents achieve independence.

The role is full time and requires strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to resident-centered care within a multidisciplinary rehab team at our skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure as a PTA in Indiana.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA care within scope of practice and standards.
• Assist with resident evaluations as directed by the PT.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with supervision.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance and independence.
• Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to PT and care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and adhere to standards.

Location: River Bend Nursing and Rehab – Evansville, IN

River Bend Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services to residents at our skilled nursing facility in Evansville, IN.

The Physical Therapist Assistant assists with assessing residents, developing treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, and delivering physical therapy services designed to improve mobility, function, and independence.

FULL TIME

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy care within the PTA scope of practice in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident evaluations as directed

• Assist the Physical Therapist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence

• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or changes to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

• Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and facility standards

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to resident-centered care

• Ability to work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams

• Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certifications
