Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents' mobility and independence. You will work with Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress in a team-focused, resident-centered environment.

Eligible candidates hold an active Florida PTA license and have experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting.

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.

• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents.
• Monitor progress and report changes to supervising PT.
• Document treatments and resident responses per guidelines.
• Assist with gait, transfer, balance, and strengthening activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident goals.
• Educate residents and families about therapy programs as directed.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
