Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately.
• Assist with gait, transfer, balance, and strengthening exercises.
• Maintain a safe, clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident goals.
• Educate residents and families on therapy programs as directed.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.
