Job summary

Concept Rehab is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Cincinnati rehabilitation team. You will deliver skilled PT services to patients recovering from surgery, illness, and hospitalization, helping them regain mobility and independence.

This role offers a collaborative environment, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits. New graduates encouraged; Ohio PTA license required; experience in geriatric or post-acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Ohio PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Help patients improve mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional performance.
• Support gait training, transfer training, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with supervising therapists.
• Encourage patient participation and motivation throughout rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and family members.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and home exercise recommendations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge preparation.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and rehabilitation culture.
