Mission Healthcare in California is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.

You will guide therapeutic exercises, apply modalities, educate patients, and monitor progress. This full-time role requires a PTA degree, current license, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license. Compensation ranges from $35 to $45 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an Associate's degree.
• Current Physical Therapy license/certification as required by state law.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Provide direct physical therapy per the Physical Therapist's directions and plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
• Direct and aid patients in therapeutic exercises, gait training, and transfers.
• Apply modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound and massage.
• Observe patient responses and report changes to the Physical Therapist and staff.
• Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and home exercises.

Conoscenze
