Job summary

• Good verbal and written communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy under a PT and physician's plan of care.
• Treats patients to relieve pain and restore function.
• Guides patients in therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Applies physical agents when indicated (heat, cold, ultrasound, etc.).
• Observes patient responses and reports changes to the PT.
• Educates patients on wheelchairs and assistive devices.
• Maintains clinical notes and participates in team meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
