Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care and perform PTA procedures as allowed by referral to restore function.
• Perform services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist.
• Assess patients' needs by evaluating data and provide age-appropriate care.
• Support training of team members, volunteers and students.
• Record patients' progress and report results to the physical therapist.
• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other interventions.
• Provide patient education on interventions.
