Fremont Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to support patient treatment plans and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines.

The PTA will provide direct treatment to residents, document progress toward goals, teach exercises to residents and families, and complete required forms in line with policy and regulations. Physical stamina and teamwork in a care-focused setting are essential.

Formación

• Must have an Associate Degree from an APTA accredited program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state where practicing.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferred in long-term care.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct treatment to residents as directed by and according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documents resident progress towards meeting established goals.
• Teaches exercises to residents, family members, and caregivers and may provide instruction in the use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Educación
