Job summary

Best Care Services in Mountainside, NJ seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to work on-site under a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering patient-centered rehabilitation to our residents.

You will assist with exercises, monitor progress, document treatments, transfer patients, and collaborate with the care team to implement effective plans while upholding compassionate, high-quality service for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA certification in New Jersey.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and treatment plans.
• Provide treatment interventions such as exercises, stretches, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report to the Physical Therapist.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training as needed.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
